How far in advance should I book?+
We recommend booking at least 2 to 3 days in advance to guarantee your spot, especially during peak season from December to April. Some popular tours fill up quickly.
Are the prices really the same for everyone?+
Yes. For all Drift tours, everyone pays the same price regardless of nationality. The only exceptions are government-regulated attractions like Castillo San Felipe, which by Colombian law charge a higher fee for foreigners. We always disclose this clearly upfront.
What is included in the tour price?+
It depends on the specific tour. Each booking link takes you to the full description where everything included is listed clearly: boat transport, guide, meals, equipment and entrance fees. Always review the details before booking.
How do I pay?+
Your booking is confirmed through WhatsApp where we coordinate payment details directly with you. We currently accept bank transfers. We are working on adding direct card payments to the platform.
Can I book in advance from another country?+
Absolutely. That is exactly what Drift is built for. You can browse, choose your tour, pick your date, and confirm everything via WhatsApp before you even board your flight. Your spot will be ready when you arrive.
What if the weather is bad on the day of my tour?+
Safety is always the priority. If sea conditions are unsafe for island or boat tours, we will offer to reschedule at no extra cost or provide a full refund. We monitor weather closely and will contact you in advance.
Do the tours operate in English?+
Drift communicates fully in English and coordinates everything with tour operators on your behalf. Many guides speak basic to intermediate English. For groups requiring a full English-speaking guide, let us know when you book.
What should I bring on the island tours?+
Sunscreen SPF 50+, a towel, cash for food and drinks on the islands, a waterproof bag or case for your phone, comfortable sandals or water shoes, and a change of clothes. Leave valuables at your hotel.
